It is a well-known issue on the BMW N54/N55/S55 platforms that your serpentine belt can fail for various reasons, when this happens you have a high chance of the belt getting sucked behind the front damper, and then being pushed past the crank seal into your oil pan. From there it can get sucked into the oil pick up causing total engine failure, even if you do not lose the engine it is a COSTLY repair to remove the sub-frame and drop the oil pan to remove the belt. The best way to combat this is to watch for oil leaks and keep up on your maintenance. BUT Even with those preventative measures, pre-mature belt failure can occur. This crank seal guard installs over your front crank seal and will keep the belt from being sucked in if a belt failure does occur. This is a cheap way to ensure you do not end up having to replace your motor from oil starvation due to an ingested belt. -

A well-known issue with the N54 and early N55 with Hydraulic power steering is the plastic pulley either hitting the subframe or simply breaking on its own. This can cause the belt to be ejected from the pulley, and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. To top it off, if you continue to run the vehicle with the belt off, you also have a good chance of sucking the belt into the engine through the front seal. Put an end to the dreaded plastic PS pulley issues with our 100% Billet Aluminum PS pulley. We make these from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize them in one of 4 colors (Black, Red, Blue, and Clear) for a great look, and long-lasting finish. These weigh 11Oz, very close to the weight of a stock pulley, and are lighter than the cast aluminum versions on the market.

The N54 has notoriously had ignition problems with the factory coils, while aftermarket upgrades do exist, they can be bulky. While factory coil upgrades such as S55, and our own N54 coil upgrades do provide more spark, the BMW B58 ignition coils are extremely robust and can support well over 1000WHP with no issues. This means a plug-and-play affordable solution that fits like stock, and looks AMAZING doing so! These oil filter housing caps retain ALL of the factory provisions for the filter basket, including the lower pins which are important for the proper function of pressure bypass, etc. They also have cooling fins to help with oil temps. We also designed these caps to complement our Billet Oil caps, and upcoming Billet Power Steering caps, so all 3 will have the same design. VTT Billet N54/N55 Vacuum/Boost Adapter
$49.99 – $64.99We are happy to release our BMW B54/N55 (Limited N55 Fitment) vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the Throttle Body fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose options, 1/4" barb, as well as 1/8NPT plugs if you only want one barb, etc. These are perfect for running your PI off manifold pressure which is much more accurate than charge pipe, and they are also great for BOV running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do. They are made from 6061-T6 anodized black, with steel plugs, and Blue Anodized barbed fittings. VTT is proud to offer our "OBD-LOCK" OBD port locking tool. This tool is made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and is designed to completely lock out your OBD port from being accessed. This is useful for people who do not want dealers, techs, etc from accessing their OBD port, and possibly changing a tune, etc. This is also perfect for anti-theft prevention as it will not allow a would-be thief to hook up to the car's OBD port, duplicate a key, etc. The OBD-LOCK cannot be removed without physically destroying the OBD port if you do not have the proper tools. VTT uses 5 types of screw head designs for every 200 OBD-LOCKS made. This means that worldwide only 40 OBD-LOCKS are using the same head design. For each batch of 200, we redesign the screw heads meaning every batch of 200 OBD-LOCKS will use different screw heads and tools. Each OBD-LOCK sent has its head design chosen at random. VTT N54 “DI Injector” Delete Kit
$319.99Looking to get rid of the troublesome and expensive DI injectors on your BMW N54 and move to PI only and a standalone? If so VTT has you covered with its new N54 PI delete kit. This kit allows you to SAFELY remove the DI injectors, install our delete fittings, and run PI only. We machined these deletes from 310 Stainless for extreme heat, and corrosion resistance, and include 3 hold downs. These DI deletes COMPLETELY get rid of all factory provisions, including the seal. If the seal is left intact with no fuel to cool the injector or delete it will quickly overheat and melt the delicate seal causing combustion gasses to escape the engine creating misfires, and worse possibly damaging your injector bore on the cylinder head. Our deletes are machined to be a press fit into the cylinder, and can be either cooled with liquid nitrogen, and dropped in, or tapped in with a hammer, and then held down with the included hold downs. We also include M6 tapped holes on the top of each one in case they need to be removed you can attach a slide hammer, and remove the delete. This is NOT the SAME sheet metal manifold everyone is selling with a different logo on it, this is a ground-up design focusing on utility as well as increased flow capability. We performed CAE/Multiphysics simulation for both steady and unsteady state operating conditions in order to bring real-world performance benefits to your N54 build. Our manifold is stronger, outflows the OEM manifold, and installs just as easily as your stock piece (no custom charge pipe or throttle body harness required). Performance gains of 20-30WHP+ were had with no tune changes on a 570WHP stock motor F-RB lite turbo car at the top of the RPM range where it matters most for performance. These numbers will only increase with ported heads, high lift cams, or even higher horsepower builds!

This driveshaft is made from 3.25" CF tubing Spicer 1350 Yolks, and U-Joints. All pieces are then bonded using PST's proprietary process, and balanced to within 1/8 In/Ounce. We couple the driveshaft with VTT Custom 7075 aluminum adapters which completely eliminate any extra guibos etc. These shafts connect directly to the BMW 3 bolt flange, and our 4340 adapter in the rear to get rid of the screw in the shaft. Do you work on a lot of BMW engines from various platforms? Do you ever struggle with heavy cylinder heads, either lifting off the engine or simply moving around? Ever ruined an EXPENSIVE multi-layer head gasket while trying to install a cylinder head due to no secure way to hold it without two people? We answered yes to all of those things, and came up with a tool for anyone that works on BMWs often, and needs a way to simply, and easily remove/install, or simply move around a cylinder head. These cylinder head tools are machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in 4 colors for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
