Ready to take your MQB powered platform to the next level? Don’t want to deal with core charges, long lead times, or restrictive factory housings? Look no further! VTT has you covered with our 100% new casting V2 “GC” turbocharger upgrade. We start by keeping the great design elements of the factory turbo and removing the not-so-great ones such as the small factory inlet area, turbo muffler on the outlet, bearing housing oil structure, thrust bearing, and anything else we saw that could be improved upon. This is not your basic IHI CHRA. We completely changed the bearing structure to an new turbine shaft, and journal bearing making it larger than anything in the IHI IS20 or IS38 family, this truly is a custom unit. We also increased the thrust assembly dramatically to deal with the increased thrust loads. With the basics covered, we stepped it up a level by adding proprietary VTT changes to the housings, A/R Ratios and finished off by having all these parts cast to OE quality. What this means for you is serious MQB power made easy; GCs are a drop-in turbocharger upgrade that supports up to 600WHP while maintaining very fast spool and all factory connections including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe. This turbo is perfect for the MQB owner looking to max out the factory fuel system and make their MQB more fun to drive with power to redline, as well as the customer looking to add a fuel system and push towards the 550-600WHP range. Looking to go above 31PSI on your VAG vehicle that uses SENT map sensors? If so you will need this 4-bar SENT sensor with integrated IAT. These are plug and play for most 2.5L engines including DAZA, and DNWA(US VERSION), as well as some other VAG platforms. You will need to have your tuner rescale your map for the sensor, but that is the only change needed. We offer them in pairs only, which is needed on most vehicles.
