VTT is proud to offer our "OBD-LOCK" OBD port locking tool. This tool is made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and is designed to completely lock out your OBD port from being accessed. This is useful for people who do not want dealers, techs, etc from accessing their OBD port, and possibly changing a tune, etc. This is also perfect for anti-theft prevention as it will not allow a would-be thief to hook up to the car's OBD port, duplicate a key, etc. The OBD-LOCK cannot be removed without physically destroying the OBD port if you do not have the proper tools. VTT uses 5 types of screw head designs for every 200 OBD-LOCKS made. This means that worldwide only 40 OBD-LOCKS are using the same head design. For each batch of 200, we redesign the screw heads meaning every batch of 200 OBD-LOCKS will use different screw heads and tools. Each OBD-LOCK sent has its head design chosen at random. After Extensive testing, we have found that our OBD lock fits EVERY SINGLE OBD port we have tried, this means it will fit every single OBD port currently on the market from a high-end BMW to a Ford F150 diesel. With the basics covered, we stepped it up a level by adding proprietary VTT changes and finished off by having all these parts cast to OE quality. What this means for you is serious power made easy; GCs are a drop-in turbocharger upgrade that supports 900-1000WHP while maintaining near factory spool and all factory connections including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe.
Please note: All F90 units have a 38 psi limit, if you go above that the warranty is void. Everyone is overspeeding these to try to make as much power as possible with no regard to turbo RPM limits. Unsure of the state of your CHRA's, whether brand new from a questionable source or rebuilt? DON'T install them without having a proper High-Speed balance done! This is the #1 most critical factor when building a turbocharger, and is even more important for performance turbochargers or small twins that see a LOT of RPM. We use a Turbo Technics VS3 balancer, and balance most units down to under .5G Not all turbos will be able to pass a high-speed balancing test for any number of reasons (usually poor assembly, bent shaft, etc), if they will not pass, we will send you the specs they are in, and as close as we could get them. We then will give you the option to send them back, or we can disassemble, and rebuild them in-house using our other balancing, and assembly tools to ensure a properly built/balanced unit.
