VTT BILLET BMW N54/N55/S55 Crank Seal Guard
$79.99 – $169.99VTT BILLET BMW N54/55 Crank Seal Guard.
It is a well-known issue on the BMW N54/N55/S55 platforms that your serpentine belt can fail for various reasons, when this happens you have a high chance of the belt getting sucked behind the front damper, and then being pushed past the crank seal into your oil pan. From there it can get sucked into the oil pick up causing total engine failure, even if you do not lose the engine it is a COSTLY repair to remove the sub-frame and drop the oil pan to remove the belt. The best way to combat this is to watch for oil leaks and keep up on your maintenance. BUT Even with those preventative measures, pre-mature belt failure can occur. This crank seal guard installs over your front crank seal and will keep the belt from being sucked in if a belt failure does occur. This is a cheap way to ensure you do not end up having to replace your motor from oil starvation due to an ingested belt. -

VTT is proud to offer our billet replacement for the factory plastic Oil filter housing cap. This cap does away with the weak plastic cap, and the need for a special tool for removal, while adding some pop, and color to your engine bay. These oil filter housing caps retain ALL of the factory provisions for the filter basket, including the lower pins which are important for the proper function of pressure bypass, etc. They also have cooling fins to help with oil temps. We also designed these caps to complement our Billet Oil caps, and upcoming Billet Power Steering caps, so all 3 will have the same design. Order all 3 - Oil Cap, Oil Filter housing Cap, and Power steering cap for $175 - 10% savings We offer these caps in 4 colors - Red, Black, Blue, and Clear anodize. Unsure of the state of your CHRA's, whether brand new from a questionable source or rebuilt? DON'T install them without having a proper High-Speed balance done! This is the #1 most critical factor when building a turbocharger, and is even more important for performance turbochargers or small twins that see a LOT of RPM. We use a Turbo Technics VS3 balancer, and balance most units down to under .5G Not all turbos will be able to pass a high-speed balancing test for any number of reasons (usually poor assembly, bent shaft, etc), if they will not pass, we will send you the specs they are in, and as close as we could get them. We then will give you the option to send them back, or we can disassemble, and rebuild them in-house using our other balancing, and assembly tools to ensure a properly built/balanced unit. The service is $79.99 each for most turbos, and we have the capabilities to balance most units. If sending in twins please choose TWO as the quantity

We increased all the internal flow channels, optimized AR ratios, maxed out the inlet size at 2.5″, and increased the compressor wheel to 67mm. Last but not least, the biggest difference maker! We had to completely retool our turbine housings to take our 54mm G25 series turbine. This wheel absolutely outflows everything on the market and is what we use on our G8X S58 GC+ and F9X M5/8 GC.
