This fix addresses an ongoing issue with the factory thermostat design, which is plagued by multiple flaws and failure points based on a plastic design. These issues can cause the thermostat to become stuck—whether open, closed, or somewhere in between—leading to engine overheating, reduced heater performance, or other complications.
Our Solution
We’ve developed a DIY-friendly thermostat fix that eliminates these failure points, ensuring a robust and reliable thermostat system with a significantly extended service life. This fix replaces the weak OEM plastic components with high-quality, precision-engineered parts, including:- 1 Billet aluminum ball valve replacement
- 1 billet aluminum actuation arm
- 2 billet ball valve bushings

- DIY Kit: Remove your thermostat housing, disassemble it, and swap out the 3 provided components using our kit. Reassemble and reinstall the housing.
- Exchange Service: Send us your thermostat housing, and we’ll perform the upgrade in-house. We’ll return it ready to install.
