It is a well-known issue on the BMW N54/N55/S55 platforms that your serpentine belt can fail for various reasons, when this happens you have a high chance of the belt getting sucked behind the front damper, and then being pushed past the crank seal into your oil pan. From there it can get sucked into the oil pick up causing total engine failure, even if you do not lose the engine it is a COSTLY repair to remove the sub-frame and drop the oil pan to remove the belt. The best way to combat this is to watch for oil leaks and keep up on your maintenance. BUT Even with those preventative measures, pre-mature belt failure can occur. This crank seal guard installs over your front crank seal and will keep the belt from being sucked in if a belt failure does occur. This is a cheap way to ensure you do not end up having to replace your motor from oil starvation due to an ingested belt. -

We started our quest for coils by contacting multiple coil manufacturing companies, paying for individual coils to be made then putting them through rigorous testing in the USA to ensure they matched or exceeded factory output. Once we were satisfied with the testing, we had the best performing coils made to our colors and specs. We offer these coils as complete sets for the N54, B58/S58, and the VAG platforms in either 4, or 5 cylinders. A well-known issue with the N54 and early N55 with Hydraulic power steering is the plastic pulley either hitting the subframe or simply breaking on its own. This can cause the belt to be ejected from the pulley, and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. To top it off, if you continue to run the vehicle with the belt off, you also have a good chance of sucking the belt into the engine through the front seal. Put an end to the dreaded plastic PS pulley issues with our 100% Billet Aluminum PS pulley. We make these from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize them in one of 4 colors (Black, Red, Blue, and Clear) for a great look, and long-lasting finish. These weigh 11Oz, very close to the weight of a stock pulley, and are lighter than the cast aluminum versions on the market.

This cap does away with the weak plastic cap, and the need for a special tool for removal, while adding some pop, and color to your engine bay. These oil filter housing caps retain ALL of the factory provisions for the filter basket, including the lower pins which are important for the proper function of pressure bypass, etc. They also have cooling fins to help with oil temps. We also designed these caps to complement our Billet Oil caps, and upcoming Billet Power Steering caps, so all 3 will have the same design. VTT Billet N54/N55 Vacuum/Boost Adapter
$49.99 – $64.99We are happy to release our BMW B54/N55 (Limited N55 Fitment) vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the Throttle Body fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose options, 1/4" barb, as well as 1/8NPT plugs if you only want one barb, etc. These are perfect for running your PI off manifold pressure which is much more accurate than charge pipe, and they are also great for BOV running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do. They are made from 6061-T6 anodized black, with steel plugs, and Blue Anodized barbed fittings. You can choose to order in a few ways. You can choose straight or 90-degree barbs. VTT is proud to offer our "OBD-LOCK" OBD port locking tool. This tool is made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and is designed to completely lock out your OBD port from being accessed. This is useful for people who do not want dealers, techs, etc from accessing their OBD port, and possibly changing a tune, etc. This is also perfect for anti-theft prevention as it will not allow a would-be thief to hook up to the car's OBD port, duplicate a key, etc. The OBD-LOCK cannot be removed without physically destroying the OBD port if you do not have the proper tools. VTT uses 5 types of screw head designs for every 200 OBD-LOCKS made. This means that worldwide only 40 OBD-LOCKS are using the same head design. For each batch of 200, we redesign the screw heads meaning every batch of 200 OBD-LOCKS will use different screw heads and tools. Each OBD-LOCK sent has its head design chosen at random. We got covered with our VTT wheel spacer conversion kits. These kits are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized for a long-lasting finish. We then press in 10.9 class studs, with corrosion-resistant zinc coating for years of use. The spacer then accepts either a 5x114 wheel or a 5x120 wheel. The 5x114 use M14 studs, and the 5x120 use M12 studs. All the spacers have either a 66.6mm or 72.6mm Hub bore size to fit 99% of BMW applications.
