Do you work on a lot of BMW engines from various platforms? Do you ever struggle with heavy cylinder heads, either lifting off the engine or simply moving around? Ever ruined an EXPENSIVE multi-layer head gasket while trying to install a cylinder head due to no secure way to hold it without two people? We answered yes to all of those things, and came up with a tool for anyone that works on BMWs often, and needs a way to simply, and easily remove/install, or simply move around a cylinder head. These cylinder head tools are machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in 4 colors for long-lasting corrosion resistance. They are knurled for a non-slip grip when oily or wet, and positioned so the head is balanced when lifting The Head Handler fits the following engines, N54, N55, S55, B58, S58 and we offer short extensions for installation with no cams/Cam ledges on the head, or long extensions for people that want to install or remove a head with cams still installed. VTT is proud to release our very own center feed N54 intake manifold. This is NOT the SAME sheet metal manifold everyone is selling with a different logo on it, this is a ground-up design focusing on utility as well as increased flow capability. We performed CAE/Multiphysics simulation for both steady and unsteady state operating conditions in order to bring real-world performance benefits to your N54 build. Our manifold is stronger, outflows the OEM manifold, and installs just as easily as your stock piece (no custom charge pipe or throttle body harness required). Performance gains of 20-30WHP+ were had with no tune changes on a 570WHP stock motor F-RB lite turbo car at the top of the RPM range where it matters most for performance. These numbers will only increase with ported heads, high lift cams, or even higher horsepower builds!
