Installing a VTT Billet ZF8 Transmission Pan? This is the filter and service kit you need to complete the installation.

Many ZF8 transmissions, particularly earlier variants, utilize a factory composite transmission pan with the filter integrated directly into the pan. When upgrading to the VTT billet transmission pan, the factory integrated filter is eliminated and must be replaced with a separate, serviceable transmission filter.

This kit provides the correct external filter, gasket, and service hardware required for use with our billet pan.

We have confirmed this filter kit for use across the ZF8 medium-frame transmissions compatible with our VTT Billet ZF8 Transmission Pan, making it the correct filter solution regardless of which compatible ZF8 variant your vehicle uses.

Designed for the VTT Billet ZF8 Pan

If your factory ZF8 uses the one-piece plastic/composite pan and integrated filter, this kit converts the filtration setup to the separate filter required when installing our billet pan.

It is also an ideal replacement service kit for vehicles already equipped with a VTT billet pan when it’s time for routine transmission fluid and filter maintenance.
