The VTT OBD-LOCK is precision-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and is engineered to completely lock out your OBD port, preventing unauthorized access.

Dealer/Tech Lockout – Stops unauthorized tune changes or system modifications

Randomized Security – Unique Screw Head Designs
To enhance security, VTT uses five unique screw head designs for every 200 OBD-LOCKS produced. This means that globally, only 40 locks share the same design. With each new batch, the screw heads are redesigned, ensuring that even if someone has removed one before, they won’t have the tool to remove yours.

I wanted to protect my lexus since there has been so many stolen toyotas and lexuses in the area. Thieves just need access to get to the obd port and clock a key. This with a sticker is a good deterrent so thieves are more likely to go to some other car. I wish it came with two window stickers that obd port has been disabled.

Someone tried to steal my car, so I picked up one of these to prevent future attempts. The car is still in the shop so I haven’t had a chance to install it yet. But the part looks like QUALITY machining. You can see the CNC machining marks on the keyed bolts and the mated bit. Just a heads up, the bit isn’t your standard 1/4” shafted bit, so the provided T-handle needs to be used for final tightening. I was going to glue a small magnet into the handle to help retain the bit, but the metal used to make the bit isn’t magnetic.

Easy to install, had to put a little pressure to get the bolt holes to fully align. Seems very secure. If someone was determined enough, they’d probably rip the port off the mounting area before it comes off. Fits 22 Hyundai VN. Machining is pretty good. I ordered two locks with duplicate keys and bolts, one of the keys doesn’t fit fully over one bolt on one lock, but just enough to unscrew it. Beyond that, no complaints! Very happy with my purchase.

The OBDII lock non-GM fit my 2019 Infiniti Q50 perfectly. It was a bit awkward to get on, but I think it is since it is so snug. Took about a minute to get on, but feels very safe. If you have a small handed person, they may helpful.

This one may be more expensive than the competitors but the design, quality and features are worth it. My car isn’t high on the list for theft but I still want some deterrent if it were to happen one day. If it were to deter someone from stealing your car it was worth it.

Only piece of feedback, I ordered a spare key with my order, it would be great to also include another key chain holder for the spare key or have this as an additonal purchase option when buying spare key.. but that’s just me being picky! I bought two units all with the same key for my 2019 Honda Pilot and 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid. The 2025 Hybrid is a replacement for our 2025 Honda CR-V that was stolen and not recovered. It was a bit tricky to put on because the OBD port on the Honda is completely upside down. When I put it on it is very secure. They are not coming off without using the key. If the device is pried off, it would break the OBD port. Can the car be stolen? I don’t know but with the port lock it’s going to be difficult and take more time. We are also using the Faraday pouches for all our keys and also put a big yellow club on both cars. Hopefully this is a deterrent for thieves. They can’t get the signal for our keys and the club with the OBD port, hopefully our cars won’t be targeted. I really can’t say if the VTT port lock will stop my cars from getting stolen but it gives my wife and I have peace of mind with the device.

Had this shipped to Australia – couldn’t find anything suitable or quality local that was in stock. The Isuzu MU-X has a small, recessed spot where OBD port located so other bulkier models would not work. VTT OBD non-GM port lock fitted perfectly. (Female installing this and had no problems using online instruction video. I won’t know how it works unless someone tries to steal my vehicle, however I feel comfortable knowing I have taken steps to reduce the risk of someone stealing it. An expensive purchase in AUD but peace of mind is hard to put price on.

It is not very easy to get the included key to screw on or off the custom bolts, but that is the point! If I have a bit of a tough time lining it up to remove with the key, imagine a criminal trying to do it with the wrong tool! Its NOT coming off. Bravo!

Bought this for my 2025 wrangler. Probably to make me feel better than anything else but it is a nice quality piece of kit and fit nicely. I didn’t torque the crap out of the nuts or anything – basically finger tight. Wanted to be sure I could get it back off at the dealer. It would seem to be difficult to get it off unless you’re wanting to bust the port off altogether, and the bracket that holds it. So it should do what is intended, and that is to stop someone from just plugging in without me letting them. Stashed the extra key with the extra fob.
