Description
VTT F9X M5/M8 Rear Differential Lockdown Kit
Looking to tighten up the rear differential on your F9X M5 or M8 and eliminate unwanted differential movement during hard launches, aggressive shifting, and high-horsepower driving? VTT has you covered.
Our Rear Differential Lockdown Kit is designed to significantly reduce differential movement by reinforcing the factory rear differential mounting point. The precision-machined billet insert fills the voids in the factory rubber bushing, dramatically limiting deflection while maintaining the majority of the OEM ride quality and compliance.
The result is a more planted and predictable rear end, improved power transfer to the ground, reduced driveline shock, and less differential movement under high-load conditions.
Unlike solid-mounted solutions, the VTT Lockdown Kit retains the factory bushing while reinforcing it, providing an excellent balance between performance and daily drivability.

NVH Notice
Because this product reduces movement in the factory rubber bushing, a slight increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) may be noticeable. Most customers find the increase minimal while appreciating the significant improvement in drivetrain control and stability.
