The VTT Ultimate Front Drag Kit is engineered specifically for straight-line performance. This system allows you to run the wheel and tire combination needed to lower ETs while dramatically reducing unsprung and rotational mass compared to the factory steel front brake setup.

This kit comes in 1 variation, with two different caliper Options for each. We HIGHLY suggest 6-piston Calipers for street driving and 1/2 mile racing. These calipers will drop weight, AND be a braking upgrade over stock calipers.

Complete bolt-on system using genuine VTT components:

  • Genuine VTT 4-Piston or 6-Piston Calipers

  • VTT Street or Race Brake Pads

  • DOT-Approved Brake Lines

  • VTT CNC 7075 Rotor Hats

  • VTT CNC Brackets

  • Brake Sensor CEL Eliminator Harness

Pad compatibility:

  • 4-Piston Dynapro Pad Style 7812

  • 6-Piston Dynapro Pad Style 6712

More aggressive pad compounds are available from multiple manufacturers to tailor braking performance to your application.


15” Wheel Fitment Notes

E-Series:
✔ Allows 15″ front wheel fitment with no modifications.

F-Series (F20, F30, etc.):

  • May require minor grinding on two control arms to clear 15″ wheels.

  • Proper wheel offset selection is critical.

  • Excessive negative offset may require spacers to clear the inboard strut.

Careful wheel fitment planning is recommended.

Bedding Procedure – CRITICAL

Brake pads must be properly bedded to achieve full braking performance.

Failure to properly bed pads may result in:

  • Only 30–50% braking effectiveness

  • Pad glazing

If glazing occurs:

  • Remove the rotor

  • Sand the pads

  • Re-bed properly

Your brake kit includes a bedding instruction card. Follow it precisely.
