Overview
VTT takes the S55 platform to the next level with our “GC-MAX” evolution of the record-setting GC Series. Based on everything learned from the GC / GC+ programs, GC-MAX pushes the limit of what is possible while retaining full bolt-on, factory-location packaging.
Internal flow paths have been enlarged significantly. A/R is optimized. Inlet diameter is maximized to 2.5”. Compressor is increased to 67mm. Most importantly — the turbine housing has been completely retooled to accept our 54mm G25-series turbine wheel used on the G8X S58 GC+ and F9X GC series. This turbine is the key to GC-MAX power — extremely low backpressure, rapid spool, and capability far beyond any turbine wheel of similar size.
This same wheel architecture has already pushed 1000WHP+ on S58 / S63 based applications — and has gone 9.44 @ 146mph on a stock motor / stock drivetrain G80. GC-MAX gives the F8X owner a true bolt-on 1000WHP solution without going single turbo and without losing factory response, packaging, or reliability.
