VTT Billet 2025+ Ram 1500 Hurricane Dual Catch Can System
(THIS SYSTEM CURRENTLY ONLY FITS SO ENGINES, HO IS COMING SOON)
It’s well known that direct-injected engines are prone to intake valve carbon buildup due to oil vapors being pulled through the factory PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) and CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) systems. While the factory design attempts to mitigate this, it falls short in fully preventing oil contamination.
This results in:
✔ Oil accumulation in the intake manifold (PCV/Low Side)
✔ Oil entering the turbochargers and charge pipes (CCV/High Side)
✔ Excess carbon buildup on intake valves
✔ Oily charge pipes, turbo inlets, and degraded performance
The Ultimate Solution – VTT’s Dual Catch Can System
The most effective way to prevent oil contamination and carbon buildup is with a catch can system. Our system filters oil from blow-by gases before they re-enter the engine.
Unlike most aftermarket catch cans that only address the high side (CCV)—which operates under boost—our system features two catch cans for complete protection:
🔹 Low Side (PCV) – Captures oil vapors at idle and cruise
🔹 High Side (CCV) – Captures oil vapors under boost
This ensures a clean intake tract, charge pipes, and intake valves throughout your vehicle’s lifespan.

The product quality and packaging are 1st class. Installation was made difficult by the video. The paper instructions would be fine if they had some pictures pointing out which fitting is to be modified. The video would be greatly improved if the installer were to pause at each step so the viewer can pause the vido and compare the video image with their installation. Another reason I only gave 4 stars is because I can now smell oil vapor when I walk by my truck in the garage. I double checked all fittings to confirm they are fully snapped on and tight and the oil drain valves are closed. This was not expected.

Build quality is top notch, packaged well and shipped quickly. Instruction video in link is not good, you’ll have to be a bit of a detective and a whole lot of pausing to figure out the routing of the hoses. Even with the manual drains, which I bought, I’m going to have to pull the mounting bolt to drain these. I added some hose to each drain valve to rout them to the bottom of the truck but I can’t get my hand on the drain valves to open them.
