Our 100% new casting B58 GC-Series turbochargers (GC, GC-MID, and GC+) retain the OE packaging advantages while removing the factory airflow limitations and weak internal architecture.
We start by keeping what BMW did right, then eliminate every bottleneck we found: the restrictive factory inlet, inefficient bearing housing oiling, small thrust assembly, and anything else holding the B58 back. Then we incorporate proprietary VTT improvements and cast everything at full OE-level quality.
The result? Serious B58 power made simple. GC turbos are direct bolt-on upgrades that retain all factory connections (oil, water, charge pipe, downpipe) while supporting 600WHP+ — with factory-like spool.

Notes / Fitment

GC inlet tube fits stock airbox and some aftermarket intakes with no modification. Some intakes (ex: Injen) may require slight modification or use of VTT MAF housing + filter.

This system removes the factory PTC heater. A shadow DME code will be present on scan tools, but in testing has not triggered a check engine light. This can be coded out if desired.
Recommended Supporting Mods
As with any turbo upgrade: fuel system upgrades, tuning, intercooler, downpipe, and intake are recommended to fully realize maximum power potential. Gains will still occur on a stock B58, but supporting mods unlock the true capability of each GC model.
