All-New F-RB Design Features

310 Stainless Steel Turbine Components

Both the turbine housing and manifold are now fully cast from 310 stainless steel for exceptional temperature resistance, durability, and corrosion resistance under extreme conditions.

Redesigned Turbine Housing

The F-RB utilizes a completely redesigned turbine housing featuring:

  • Larger volute design
  • Proprietary A/R sizing
  • Increased overall flow capacity
  • Reduced turbine backpressure
  • Reduced stress on the turbine wheel

This dramatically improves high-RPM efficiency and overall power capability compared to previous GC generations.

New Compressor Housing Design

All-new compressor housings are available with:

  • V-Band outlet connection
  • Hose barb outlet connection (while supplies last)

The updated design improves fitment flexibility and airflow performance.

Redesigned CHRA & Internal Components

The center housing rotating assembly has been redesigned from the ground up featuring:

  • New billet compressor wheel designs
  • Upgraded internal components
  • Performance thrust upgrades
  • Bullet-style compressor nuts
  • Improved durability under high boost operation

These are entirely new turbochargers from the bearing housing to the compressor cover to the turbine housing.

  • Rated up to 800WHP
  • Faster spool than the F-RB+

GC F-RB Lite

58×43.3mm Purple Anodized Billet Compressor Wheel

  • Rated up to 750WHP
  • Very close to stock-like spool response

Inlet & Outlet Compatibility

The GC F-RB turbochargers were specifically engineered around the VTT 2” inlet system and VTT aluminum outlets for maximum performance and ease of installation.

If you already have aftermarket inlets, you may remove them from the dropdown options. However:

Factory stock inlets WILL NOT fit these turbochargers.

The turbochargers are compatible with:

  • Stock outlets
  • V-Band outlets
  • VTT GC barbed outlets (if selected)

Recommended Supporting Modifications

We strongly recommend the following with upgraded turbochargers:

  • Aluminum charge pipe
  • Quality blow-off valve setup
  • Upgraded PCV system
  • Proper fueling upgrades
  • Professional calibration/tuning

PCV System Recommendations

When upgrading or replacing turbochargers, we highly recommend upgrading the factory PCV system.

A worn OEM PCV valve can contribute to:

  • Excess crankcase pressure
  • Oil control issues
  • Turbocharger oiling problems

We offer multiple PCV upgrade solutions including:

  • Catch can systems
  • Upgraded PCV valves
  • Billet aluminum valve covers

Oil Recommendations

Engine oil selection is extremely important for upgraded turbocharger longevity.

VTT recommends:

  • 40W oil or heavier
  • High zinc/phosphorus content oils
  • High shear-strength formulations designed for performance applications
