Introducing VTT-FAB Billet TIG Trailing Shields VTT-FAB is proud to announce our Billet TIG Trailing Shields, designed to set a new standard in the trailing shield market. We identified a gap where existing options were either too expensive or made from materials that degrade, melt, or fail when exposed to hot surfaces during welding. With this in mind, we took a fresh, innovative approach and developed two high-quality trailing shields to address these issues.

- Premium Construction: Crafted from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in red for corrosion resistance and durability.
- Optimal Gas Coverage: Equipped with an internal diffuser and a finely calibrated screen to fully diffuse gas, ensuring optimal coverage for stronger, cleaner welds.
- Versatile Design: Two versions are available:
- Radiused Trailing Shield: Contoured to match 2.5"–5" tubing.
- Flat Trailing Shield: Ideal for flat surfaces and other specific welding needs.
- Universal Compatibility: Suitable for all materials and designed to attach directly to your TIG torch.
- Extremely light: With fittings only 2 Oz for the flat version, and 3 Oz for the radiused!
Innovative Features
- Continuous Argon Flow: Prevents contamination, resulting in cleaner, stronger welds—an essential for TIG welding.
- Swivel Quick Disconnect (QD): Each shield comes with a VTT-FAB Swivel QD Female Connector and a 1/4" Barbed Male Fitting (available in straight or 90-degree options).
- Ensures smooth, tangle-free operation as the swivel moves effortlessly with your hand.
- Allows for quick detachment if you choose not to run gas, enabling you to leave the shield attached to your torch with no line in seconds.

These heat sinks are designed to enhance your welding experience by efficiently dissipating heat away from the V-band flange, thereby minimizing or eliminating warping and pulling.Crafted from 100% billet-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, these V-bands feature precisely machined fins that facilitate rapid heat release. Additionally, they are equipped with dual 1/8" NPT ports on both the top and bottom, with the interior port incorporating a built-in diffuser to ensure optimal gas flow during back purging.Our V-Band heat sinks are available in a range of sizes, including 2", 3.5", 3", and 4", as well as various types to accommodate different V-bands.Features:

VTT-FAB is proud to offer our HD Line of Stainless V-Band clamps. These will work with all our V-band flanges of matching size, such as our aluminum V-band flanges, and turbo inlet flanges. These are HD construction with locking nuts. 2", and 2.5" use an M5 stud and 11mm nut, and 3" uses an M8 stud and 13mm nut Sizes offered:
