If you’re looking for a turbo upgrade that doesn’t turn into a full rework of your engine bay, you’ve got options. Whether you want an OEM-like Vargas B58 turbo that works with your stock ECU control strategy, or a GC-series B58 turbo that bolts in using factory oil and coolant connections, we make it easy to choose an upgrade path that fits your goals.

OEM+ Turbos

Even though we always recommend having a qualified technician handle turbo replacement, it’s still helpful to know what the process looks like before you start. If you’re moving from the stock S58 turbo arrangement to an OEM+ S58 single turbo option, we’ve built the kit so it comes with the supporting parts you need. That includes items like the manifold, adapters, and hose replacements that help the system fit cleanly.

We also give you a lot of ways to tailor the kit to your preferences. You can add an air filter or velocity stack, choose Cerakote for hot-side components, select powder coating for cold-side parts, and configure other options so the finished kit matches your build and your goals.

Upgrades with Factory Connections

If you’re on a B58 platform and want a direct bolt-on turbo upgrade, our GC lineup is designed for exactly that. Our GC, GC-MID, and GC+ turbos are built from 100% new castings fabricated at our facility in Hayward, California, and they retain the packaging advantages of the factory setup.

At the same time, we improve the areas that hold the stock turbo back. The restrictive factory inlet, the small thrust assembly, and the bearing housing oiling structure all get meaningful upgrades through our proprietary internal architecture. These improvements are cast to OEM-level standards, so fitment stays clean and consistent.

Because they retain factory oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe connections, GC turbos install like a stock replacement, but they’re capable of supporting more than 600 WHP while maintaining factory-like spool.

Factory-Controlled Wastegates

If you want a more DIY-friendly upgrade path, we also offer solutions like a B58 top mount turbo that keep boost control simple. Our setups featuring the Turbosmart 60mm Straight Gate are designed to provide complete boost control directly through your OEM ECU strategy without external controllers, MAC solenoids, or added vacuum and boost plumbing.

You can reuse your factory actuator with our adapter for true plug-and-play operation. That setup supports a functional boost range from 0 PSI up to the limits of your turbo system. If you send in your actuator, or purchase a new one through us, we can pre-calibrate it so installation is even smoother.
